PAPA is proud to announce its 2011 exhibition and sale at The Haggin Museum, Stockton, CA. The Allure of Water brings together more than 100 artworks by 40 Signature and Emeritus PAPA members and Guest Artists. The theme is interpreted in both its physical and spiritual meanings to us all. The exhibition opens with a gala weekend of events on October 15, 2011.
PAPA Members and Guest Artists went into the field to experience and translate everything from rain, fog, and clouds to lakes, rivers, and oceans, snowfields and glaciers, swamps and marshes, fountains and waterfalls. More than 100 paintings comprise PAPA’s 23rd exhibition and sale offering an immersion in water’s myriad forms and guaranteed to buoy the viewer’s appreciation of a resource that is more precious than ever.
