I was very fortunate to be trained at one of the best art schools in the country, Art Center School of Design, Pasadena, CA. I have a wide range of interests, which have inspired me to paint a lot of different subject matter. I am also at the best stage of painting: painting what I feel. I won’t say that I have mastered all of the principles of painting, one never quite does, but I have accomplished a lot by drawing and painting for more than 60 years. Over that time, what I’ve learned is that I just have to get out of my own way and let the process flow, especially when I’m seeking an unconventional subject and try to create the best “work of art” that I can.
