My work has been constantly dedicated to the principle that beauty of idea, form, design and harmony express the highest of what we perceive in nature. That doesn't mean that we copy nature. We are nature! There may be an infinite number of galaxies; scientist estimate 900 billion can be seen. The magnificent glory of the universe is plain to us and yet we settle for gutter "language" in our entertainment, in our hearts and minds, and in the people and things we admire. Why? Because we don't treasure the beauty of purity and holiness in everything around us. Is this a religious statement? Yes! Is this a secular statement? Absolutely! My work tries to express those principles no matter what I choose to paint. Beauty is everything to me.
